FAUNT PROPERTY GROUP TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING & OCCUPANCY

 

Please carefully review these conditions. 

 

Every individual signing their registration card, known as “the Guest,” acknowledges and agrees that these conditions extend to any person occupying or visiting the apartment or complex and utilising the facilities at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest. 

 

  1. Payment must be settled by cash or credit card before the start of occupancy. Should check-in occur after office hours, the full rental amount will be charged to a credit card on the day of arrival. 
  2. Occupancy begins and ends on the dates specified on the receipt. 
  3. The Guest is responsible for payment of any charges incurred, as well as any costs for damage or loss to the apartment, its contents, or the property caused by any Guest. 
  4. The apartment must not be used for any unlawful purpose. 5. Guests are required to park only in designated areas. 
  5. Only the number of individuals indicated in the booking may stay in the apartment overnight. 
  6. No animals or pets are permitted on the premises. 
  7. The Body Corporate, Manager, and apartment owner are not liable for any damage or loss of property suffered by a Guest on the premises. 
  8. Guests must comply with the by-laws, rules, and regulations of the complex, as well as any reasonable directions of the Manager. Failure to comply after receiving a warning may result in the apartment being vacated. 
  9. There will be no refund for early departures. 
  10. The Manager reserves the right to inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice, and at any time without notice if a breach of these conditions is suspected.
  11. The Manager and the apartment owner will not be held responsible for any misdescription of the apartment. 
  12. In the event of a Guest desiring to cancel the booking, a refund of the deposit, less an administration fee of $100.00, will only be made if more than 60 days’ notice is given. Please refer to our complete Cancellation Policy for details. 
  13. The Guest authorises the manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage, or other liabilities for which the Guest is responsible. 
  14. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must vacate the apartment immediately. The Manager is authorised to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of their property. 
  15. It is a condition of occupancy that upon departure, all rubbish be removed, dishes washed and returned to their proper place, and the apartment left tidy with furniture returned to its original position. Failure to do so will result in a minimum charge of $50.00 and up to a maximum of $200.00 being automatically charged to the provided credit card. 
  16. Parties or functions within the grounds or in any of Faunt Property Group Apartments or Penthouses are not permitted by the Body Corporate. 
  17. Should an owner sell the apartment or take it out of the letting pool, the Manager will make an effort to find a suitable alternative within Faunt Property Group. If no other apartment is available, the Manager will not be responsible for finding or paying for accommodation at another resort. 
  18. In the event of a Guest wanting to move or being required to move due to an unavoidable circumstance, the management must be given the first opportunity to find accommodation of a similar standard, and any claims for a refund or funds transfer will not be negotiated or met. 
  19. There are no refunds for breakdowns of electrical items or equipment. 
  20. The resort cannot accept any “schoolies” bookings and will deny access to the apartment and provide a full refund if a booking is found to be a “schoolies” booking on arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Faunt Property Group follows a specific practice when dealing with the cancellation of a holiday booking. We strongly recommend that all guests consider purchasing travel insurance. 

 

– The Letting Agent and the Owner have the first right of refusal for all bookings held. No cancellation fee will be charged if an owner refuses a booking. 

– A full refund of the deposit will be given if the booking is cancelled 15 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival. 

– If the booking is cancelled less than 15 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund.

– Specific apartments cannot be guaranteed. 

– No refunds for reductions in stay once checked in. 

 

*The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting, banking, cancelling, drawing the refund, and postage.
